We work with regional farmers around the world to bring your favorite flavors to life in plant-based bars that challenge the monotony of the bland, boring bar brands you’re used to.
We use feel-good ingredients that power your day while helping you feel grounded. Our base is made from green pea puffs that offer 10 grams of complete protein, and we’re always soy, dairy, and gluten-free so you can trust we’ll satiate without triggering your stomach.
As part of our Responsible Sourcing policy we’ve built profit-sharing agreements that allocate a portion of sales from each flavor to support the communities where our most beloved ingredients are harvested.
We also are dedicated to sharing profits with underserved schools in order to fund the vital art programs that so often go unfunded. We recognize the importance of art education in the development of a child’s emotional and cognitive well-being, and believe that art plays a fundamental role in keeping us united as humans.

Mezcla was born out of a great friendship between our founders Griffin and Coco. Griffin was a senior at The University of Virginia and Coco was a guest presenter in his social entrepreneurship class. Griffin was drawn to Coco’s love of food, and the two quickly formed a close friendship. Together in Coco's kitchen, they mixed recipes and stories as they created the first bar, using ingredients like Amaranth and Cacao, to honor Coco’s hometown in Mexico. They named their partnership “Mezcla” (“mixture” in Spanish) to represent the mixture of flavors and communities they were building. Griffin is hard at work scaling Mezcla so everyone can mix it up with our incredible flavors, while Coco serves as an advisor and champions our social impact / give-backs.
